After many hours of online looking, 7 furniture stores and lots of debate...we have bedroom furniture! Today was the final day, we went to 5 of the stores (with our toddlers), missed naps, had McDonalds in the car for lunch, looked at countless options, talked and talked and talked some more, and finally found a set we love - less than 10 miles from home after travelling for at least 30-40 miles.
We finished at 5 - so much for that noon finish we naively planned. 2 grumpy crying kids later, 2 venti white chocolate peppermint lattes for the tired parents (NF for the momma:)), 2 oatmeal and fruit suppers, 2 baths, 2 kids safely tucked in for an early bedtime, and 2 parents just getting started on all that has to be done on the homefront: so much for our Saturday. But we do love that furniture! :)

ReplyDeleteI often wonder why we spent so much money on beautiful nursery furniture and still don't have nice stuff for our own bedroom. Sigh.
