They made sure there wasn't a drop left in the icecream bucket! I firmly believe popsicles and icecream should be enjoyed to the fullest by all ages during the summer - they completely agree! :)
Okay, my waistline doesn't actually agree with the above belief so I limit my consumption but it's still a fun plan and hopefully makes for a memorable childhood. :)
I have a great memory of my mom and sisters and I buying a half-gallon of icecream for lunch one day when we were out and just eating as much as we wanted! Definately not recommended for regular consumption, but definately ONCE in a life. :)

Yumm! When I was growing up, we didn't have air conditioning in our house. Popsicles and ice cream were a must for summer time! I LOVE ice cream, and I have found my little one in the womb likes it too- boy does she bounce around! Your boys look pretty content!

ReplyDeleteI wasn't a participant in this ice cream party, but growing up it was a infrequent but not unheard-of event to make and crank (by hand, of course) home-made ice cream and devour it for our main course for supper. That was delicious, and everyone always thoroughly enjoyed it! So I guess the boys come by it honestly :)
