Complaint

I have a complaint. I don't like flip-cap toothpaste tubes. After having several, I think they are awful. My current tube gets clogged with dried toothpaste even though I close the lid and keep it clean. I cant stand it. It's disgusting. This article is about the same toothpaste I use but disagrees with my assessment of the flip-cap.

What do you think? Flip-cap or removable cap? Do you squeeze from the middle or bottom? Do you drive your spouse or roommates crazy with your toothbrushing habits? Yeah, I'm a hygienist and I'm actually interested.

I go either way about the top. I would prefer to squeeze the tube from the bottom, but ti usually gets squeezed int he middle. I do, however, roll the tube up as more and more toothpaste is used. I think, though I'm not sure, that may bug Catherine a bit.

I don't like flip tops, they get gunky and grody. I don't care about the squeezing, I just get the toothpaste out. If anyone does the rolling from the bottom thing, that would be my dear husband. Fine if you do, fine if you don't!

I say no to flip tops! Same problem on Hershey's Chocolate Syrup...you can't keep the chocolate off of your fingers when you open the top. Granted, it is a much lesser evil to lick the chocolate off your fingers when dealing with the Hershey's bottle. But, I completely understand your toothpaste flip-top frustration. :)

No flip tops. yuck. So filthy dirty ... especially when children use them. *shudders*
I don't really care where I squeeze my tube from though. About halfway through the tube I tend to start squeezing it from the bottom. :)

I have been noticing of late how messy my flip-cap Crest is. I hate how it looks like a little kid is sharing toothpaste with me. As for the squeezing, I typically choose to squeeze from the bottom.
