Titus

Ty is just not getting better. I've been to the doctor twice this week already and we are headed back this afternoon for a steriod treatment. Please pray that he will improve. We are staying in (as we have most all of this week) and won't take him out at all this weekend except for medical things. It's tough watching him feel awful and hear him not breathing well. I feel so bad. I wish it were me instead of him.

"I wish it were me instead of him."

The burden of a parent. Fortunately we have a heavenly father who felt the same way and actually substituted himself in our place.

We'll pray for Ty! So sorry...

Not fun! I will say some prayers for you all. Hoping the weekend makes him feel better. Hey - the Colts are playing the Bengals so it should be a win! :)

We'll be praying. Have they tested him for RSV? I'm wondering since he's not getting better. Poor Ty. Hang in there.

Sorry, it just occurred to me. Are they checking his o2 saturation before and after the treatment? If not (and they probably are) ask for it. It will give you a good idea if the treatment is really effective. Okay, now I'm done. Just a little protective:)

Hey Monica - they haven't tested him but suspect it is that or something similar. The pediatrician said the treatment wouldn't change and the test is awful...it's definitely some strain of bronchiolitis. He is using pulmocort (sp?) and albuterol in the neb. He still has no fever, is eating, and though more clingy is still smiling. Any thoughts?

They checked it today half way through and it was 99%. That was good. It wasn't checked right before, though and I wished it had been.

Ty and the family will be in our thoughts and prayers daily.
Please continue to keep us posted.

Thanks Monica, I was going to ask if it was RSV. That can be such a problem in this season with little people. I hope he gets better really soon!!! :(
