Nighttime Battles
It’s 4 a.m. and Calvin has been awake for 2 hours and is still going strong. We are so tired. He seems to think sleeping is a necessary evil. Both boys have really been testing us for the past day or two…testing the limits, etc. They do this in completely different ways. Patrick is sleeping right now and even when Calvin was in the same room crying, he didn’t wake up. This is one exhausted Mommy. We’ve changed his diaper, given him Tylenol and water, kissed him and loved him, and now we hope he will eventually fall asleep.

Little Calvin must really be wanting more peaches and banana bread. I suppose he doesn't wish to miss anything. Grandpa did his best to interrupt my sleep last night with getting me up at around 3:00 and again around 5:00. Each time he just asked "Are you there?" Since he had a Dr. appointment this morning at 9:30 we had to get up at 7:00. Calvin is a precious little boy in spite of his idea of not needing much sleep at times. I know you love him, and so do I.
