**THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED! THANKS FOR ENTERING!**
I will announce the winners sometime today or tomorrow and also contact them via e-mail.

It's bloggy giveaway time. What fun! Tomorrow is my son Calvin's 3rd birthday and in honor of that, I will be giving away 3 different prizes this week each with 3 items!

1) 3 children's books - Calvin loves books!

2) 3 cookbooks - I can't do a giveaway without including these since I love to cook and bake!

3) 3 packets of seeds - spring is finally here!

Here's how to enter:
- Leave a comment with a way to contact you. You do not have to be a blogger to win.
- Tell me your favorite children's book, your favorite thing to cook or bake, OR your best gardening tip! (If your comment does not include one of these, you will be disqualified.)
- One entry per person.
- Due to shipping costs, I'm sorry to only be able to offer this to U.S and Canadian addresses or anyone serving overseas on a military base.
- As always, if you are friends or family, you are eligible to win, too!

This giveaway will close on Friday night at 11 p.m. I will draw the winners (3 different people) sometime on Saturday and post them here on the blog. I will also contact each winner. You will have 3 days to reply with your mailing address.

My favorite children's book are the little house on the prairie series, my mom used to read them to us at night and I have so many great memories of that - I can't wait till I have kids and can share that with them. I won't share a gardening tip because I have a black thumb and leave that to my husband. My office cactus is currently dying.

My favorite children's book (from when I was a kid) was Who's Mouse Are You? To this day (I'm 31 with a wee one of my own) I can recite it by heart. :) I've been searching for a copy for Lily, my daughter, but haven't had any luck. I'll keep trying though, as my copy is falling apart from use. I hope to find one by the time she's three (she's nine months now)... so wish me luck. :)

You can meet Lily at my personal blog (if you are so inclined) at http://blog.myspace.com/chihuahuagrrrl

The thing that helped me with gardening the most was making a chart of the different parts of my yard, and when they get sunlight. Then I was able to look up which of my plants like lots of light and which like less, and put them in the appropriate spots.

Oh, how can I choose a favorite children's book? - I have shelves and shelves of them, because I love them so much! I guess one of my favorites would be Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter, especially for the drawings. My favorite thing to bake is chocolate chip cookies, and as for gardening - I am still learning, but have found that I need to be diligent to keep my garden watered, daily if necessary - it's not fun to invest the time and effort into planting and then have things die for lack of water - especially here in the South!
Thanks for such a wonderful giveaway - all of my favorite things!

Favorite thing to bake? at the moment cupcakes from scratch, they're sooo good =)
Gardening tip? read all instructions carefully and coordinate how much time you want to spend gardening and where you are planting before you buy anything. It'll save a lot of time and money if you think it out first, plus if you read carefully you can find plants that grow better in your climate so you don’t end up with plants you have to water a ton or dry out because it’s not their natural environment =)
Favorite Kid Book? Amelia Bedelia by Peggy Parish, it still cracks me up =P

As for my favorite thing to cook and best gardening tip, I hardly cook and I've never gardened, so would it be alright if I shared what my fiancee loves to cook and one of her gardening tips?
