No Concept

I have no understanding of the lives of my friends who tell me that their 3 and 4 yr. olds play by themselves (inside or out). My children think up enough mischief in approximately 3.2 seconds that I keep a pretty close eye on them. And if it gets quiet or they are silly laughing, I know I need to run to check on the activity! :)

They are doing much better at playing together without arguing (at least for the moment :)) which has been great! It's such a blessing to see their friendship grow. I love to hear their conversations and see their imaginations in action. Now if I could just get them to suggest great-to-mom ideas to each other, we'd be in business! :) I know it's only a matter of time before they will be independent and won't need so much supervision and that will be an amazing and sad day for this momma.

Cute picture of your sweet boys! My kids are now just starting to play well together at ages 2 1/2 and 5 1/2!

They are precious. A fun positive to their scheming is you will have some fabulous belly-laugh stories later! Way to appreciate the chaos while it's around you. It's hard sometimes to picture these as the good ol' days, but they grow so fast! And mine isn't even 2 yet!

Morgan plays independently all the time, I think mainly because when I am home I don't have tons of time to devote to one-on-one play with her. I try to spend at least 30 minutes in the evening just with her, but that isn't always a possibility. It's sad, but nice in a way because I know she can entertain herself for a long time. It helps that she is the only child. I know that when she and my niece (who is only 3 months younger) are together, we cannot leave them alone long or we have similar scenes to your house.

What a good picture of the boys. LOVE the matching shorts. I wish I had another little one to have matching outfits! Dressing Mama and Morgan up is not only hard, but I think would be a little weird :)

I LOVE those shorts! What a great picture of the handsome threesome!

I really cannot leave Nick alone for long either. If I get lazy and don't check on him often, we pay (literally sometimes) because he has done something "creative"!

He thinks our sole purpose in life is to be his play buddies because "its no fun to play alone" insert...cute pouting face. :)

I can't imagine it in double! :) Kudos to you!
