Doctor's Report

We just got back from the doctor and things look good! He gained 2 oz. which is right on track. He cooperated beautifully but was a little dramatic - grunting everytime the doctor touched him. :)

I'm hoping to put up an album on facebook soon - we can't access anything here very well so it will probably be next week. If you aren't already my facebook friend - feel free to ask. :)

And if you still haven't received a picture and stats - please e-mail me again or leave a comment with an e-mail address or way to get in contact with you! I've been working on it...

Sounds like things are going great! I'm not a big facebook person but guess I'll have to consider it. Glad for all your good news!

See you soon.

That's funny...I just sent a friend request before reading your post! haa. It was a "People you may know" ploy from FB.

Yay! Glad for the good news. How wonderful you don't have to worry about cooking, etc., and can just focus on Ty. These moments are so fleeting. He will grow SOOO fast. I remember when Clara was born I had totally forgotten how little their feet were, etc. It's also nice to have Andrew to pass him off to, and enjoy some more rest! Enjoy this time!! It sounds like you are. :)

Just food for thought regarding Ty's spit-up issues. My son struggled with spit-up and projectile vomit due to acid reflux issues. If Ty's condition still occurs, ask your doctor about putting a little bit of rice cereal in his bottle. This prevents the formula from "sloshing" in his stomach. It helped my son, and was recommended by my pediatrician.

Thanks anon! That is actually the formula he is on right now and he is doing much better. He has been on it for about 4 days. He is also taking Reflux medicine. No projectile right now which is great!

I found your blog through Catherine's (I'm the mom of her friend, Heidi). Although I've mostely been a lurker, I've fallen in love with you and your family and would love to have a chance to see pictures of your newest little boy. I've thoroughly enjoyed the glimpses into your loving family's life and have held you all in prayer often, but especially since you told us about Ty's impending arrival. I know that Calvin and Patrick miss you as much as you miss them but these days apart will dissolve into the wonderful days to come as your lives are enriched yet again by God's addition to your family.
